Today, I teamed up with my mom and two friends to cook a meal for our local firefighters! We prepared sloppy joe, macaroni and cheese, green beans, and brownies--yum! My family is truly grateful for the service of our fire departments. In just a few years time, our fire departments have helped my family through a car accident, a medical emergency, and a gas line fire from lightening striking our home. This is a small gesture for our local heroes, but one from the heart :)
