My friend has been sick for the past few days without much relief. Sore throat, runny nose, headache…you name it, she has it. I remembered today that my favorite artisan ice cream shop, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, sells a “Hot Toddy Sorbet” made with lemon and honey (and whiskey!). The recipe for this sorbet was inspired by a beverage Jeni’s family used to make when someone wasn’t feeling well. I bought my friend a pint today and stopped by her house for a visit :)
