Day 22: Wrote a Letter to a Soldier

I am sincerely grateful for the service and sacrifice our military members and their families give to protect our rights and our freedoms. I am also extremely proud to have Veterans in my family including my husband, my brother-in-law, and 3 grandfathers!  While my husband was serving in Iraq, he received handmade cards and letters from people in our community and it meant so much to him! We still have each letter and beautiful creation sent to him. Remembering how special and meaningful a letter can be, I decided to send a letter of encouragement and thanks to a soldier. Operation Gratitude collects letters and other donations to send to our military members. I encourage you to take a few minutes and send a letter too :)
